W.S. Tyler F-Class Eccentric Vibrating Screens

Inconsistent stroke and excess vibration in your screens can impair your aggregate operation’s productivity. W.S. Tyler’s F-Class double eccentric vibrating screen minimizes this excess vibration and delivers a more consistent stroke than traditional 2-bearing screens. Its technology maintains screening accuracy during aggregate material weight spikes and offers more structure flexibility, allowing you to place screens side by side if necessary.

The F-Class maintains a consistent stroke during material volume spikes

The F-Class has a unique double eccentric shaft assembly not found in any other aggregate screens

Proven Double Eccentric Technology
Since its introduction in the 1930’s, more than 700 W.S. Tyler F-Class vibrating screens have been sold into aggregate and mining operations throughout North America and parts of the world. Its popularity is largely due to its unique double eccentric shaft assembly technology. As the shaft turns, the force from the screen body goes one way while counterbalance weights equal that force in the other direction, minimizing the vibration to the structure. The double eccentric shaft creates a positive, or consistent, stroke so that the F-Class can easily handle material volume spikes without losing momentum.

In addition to traditional aggregate screening, the F-Class is often used before primary crushers to screen out fines and eliminate excess crusher wear and tear. Some basic options include:

  • Double eccentric shaft configuration
  • Precisely screens material from 6 inches down to 20 mesh
  • Available in sizes from 6 ft. x 12 ft. up to 8 ft. x 24 ft.
  • Choose up to 3 screen decks
  • Available with inclines between 10 and 25 degrees
  • Comes with base frame allowing you to easily install it into your structure

Customize The F-Class To Fit Your Standards
W.S. Tyler F-Class vibrating screens are built on platforms that combine machine size and one of W.S. Tyler’s double eccentric shaft drive types with 160 mm bearings. Within a platform, the customer chooses basic parameters, such as screen length and width and the number of decks his application requires. Within the self-set parameters, the customer can choose between multiple variables, such as deck set-up, wear lining and stroke and speed combinations. In addition, F-Class vibrating screens allow for the use of multiple screen media types on each deck to meet your screening requirements.

Strength & Performance You Can Trust
The W.S. Tyler F-Class vibrating screen is a trusted machine built to withstand the most rugged application challenges. Its features include:

  • Heavy-duty body design with minimal welds to avoid fatigue cracking
  • 90-degree top and 45-degree bottom Durabend side plates for higher body rigidity
  • Hands-free tube housing allows for bearing work without come-alongs or drift pins
  • Patented angle box tensioning system for properly tensioned screen media

These standard features are accompanied by a list of options, including:

  • Dust enclosures to ensure a safe and clean working environment
  • Auto-lube systems to simplify maintenance efforts
  • Constant bearing life and temperature monitoring systems to avoid unscheduled downtime

The F-Class is backed by a standard 18-month warranty from date of shipment, which can be increased according to customer-specific warranty upgrade packages.

Screens Arrive Ready To Work
Before F-Class vibrating screens are shipped, W.S. Tyler performs a thorough Vibration Analysis. This test assures proper workmanship that screens are built to W.S. Tyler quality standards, while correctly balanced and smoothly operating, adhering to acceptable noise levels. Once on-site, W.S. Tyler tests the screens again during commissioning to make sure optimal performance is achieved within the customer’s operation and structure.
