As an environmentally conscious company, Vehicle & Equipment Washers, Inc. (VEWI) provides solutions for commercial and industrial companies, government agencies, and the military, who are engaged in a variety of land disturbing activities. Mines, quarries, landfills, construction sites, scrap yards and the like have specific issues that are addressed by VEWI’s products and services, notably the elimination of debris track-out onto public roadways at the various sites, as well as the control and containment of such debris.
The patented self-flushing, “closed- loop” design provides the cleaning of vehicles with high-pressure and high volume wash capabilities, combined with the evacuation and containment of the solid and semi-solid debris. The debris is captured in an eight thousand gallon filtration tank where the water is filtered and recycled for the re-use in the drive through wash unit. The user-friendly design of our filtration tank gives VEWI’s customers several options for proper and responsible disposal of the captured debris. VEWI’s systems allow users to comply with storm water management regulations, as well as helping to eliminate costs incurred from clean-up, fines, and remediation.
The TW2000® wheel wash system was designed with versatility in mind. Customizable spray patterns, choice of flow rates, and options for electric or diesel driven pumps means users can address current issues and needs, as well as be assured that retro-fitting the system will be quick and convenient to handle future applications. The compatibility of optional features adds to the versatility of the system. Overspray control panels, ramps, auto-fill, additional or modified filtration, and a heater for freeze protection are available. State-of-the-art auto controls make the TW2000® self-sufficient and energy efficient for diesel and electric driven pumps. The structural supports and solid steel decking allow the unit to be set up on any level, compacted surface. Because of the self-flushing feature, there is no need for sediment traps, concrete footers, or other site work to prepare for operation, like other models that claim to be portable. When long-term site issues are to be addressed VEWI’s TW1000® can be installed using concrete, while still being able to employ the many optional features of the TW2000® portable unit. If more spray power is needed in a permanent model VEWI’s TW1000 PLUS® is available. The PLUS uses the TW2000® floor and spray pattern as an insert, easily installed to the basic TW1000®.
Our team at VEWI provides site-specific recommendations to fit the customer’s needs, including upgrading or retro-fitting existing systems that don’t quite make the grade, once again proving the versatility, adaptability, and solutions driven service provided by VEWI. Environmentally conscious companies, including end users, suppliers, distributors, and fabricators will benefit by engaging in business with VEWI. Incorporating Environmental Stewardship with other key corporate values will help companies stay strong in today’s economy by creating opportunities, creating and maintaining jobs, and proving leadership and proactive response to the recovery and protection of Earth’s natural resources.
