TorcUP of Canada Goes INDY CAR Racing!
TorcUP of Canada is pleased to announce their corporate sponsorship of Alex Tagliani, Indycar racing. Alex is currently the only Canadian driver remaining in the series. Alex will be wearing the TorcUP of Canada logo on his suit during the Indy 500. Alex drives for Conquest Racing. “We are very grateful to … TorcUP of Canada to be supporting us this weekend in Long Beach. Hopefully we can thank them with a good result on Sunday,” said team owner Eric Bachelart regarding the new partnership deals.

Colin Livingston of TorcUP of Canada states, “I met Alex at a sponsorship summit for the Edmonton Indy back in March 2009. We ended up speaking for nearly 2 hours about the benefits of car sponsorship and quickly saw that he is truly dedicated to providing sponsors an excellent experience and maximum ROI. He has proven this season that he is one of the greatest drivers in the world having arrived to the first race of the season in St. Petersburg, FL having not been in the car for 6 months, had minimal practice and still qualified 9th out of over 20 cars and set the 2nd fasted lap time of the weekend, finishing in 10th place in the race despite a 1st lap altercation and having a car flatten his tire mid-race.”
Alex’s standing overall for the 2009 season is 12th according to www.indycar.com. Clearly an outstanding driver, TorcUP of Canada is proud to be a part of this racing legacy. TorcUP of Canada, based in Edmonton, AB is the Canadian factory office for TorcUP Inc., which is headquartered in Easton, PA.
