 Dave Grapes | Midlantic Machinery announces Dave Grapes has joined on as Service Manager at our Harrisburg facility.
Dave grew up in Romney, WV, and worked in his father’s heavy equipment repair shop. He moved to Pennsylvania in 1995 and his first hand experience in the family business helped him quickly continue his career as Fleet Maintenance manager for a few local contractors. And now he’s ours.
Dave was hired on April 1, 2011 and his impact is already being felt. He leads by example and his management philosophy is simple. “Customers’ needs come first.” Dave explains that he takes every problem personally and boasts of great resolve. Nothing will stop us from solving a customer’s problem because we care. Dave’s pledge to our customers is this, “Give me a call; this will be the last call you make.”
In addition to his business strategy, Dave has a positive contagious attitude that inspires people around him to elevate their performance and expectations to his level. He says if you treat people the way you want to be treated, you’ll get their best. This practice applies to all people he encounters is a given day… his employees, his suppliers, his customers… his kids. It’s this kind of influence that strengthens the team around him, the greater Midlantic support network and ultimately you. Dave currently lives in Harrisburg, PA with his wife of 36 years. They have three children and three grandchildren.
