The Buell Classifier Division was sold to Mining & Construction Technology, Metso Corporation located in York, PA effective Aug. 2, 2010.
Buell Classifiers, a division of Fisher-Klosterman, Inc., a CECO Environmental Company (NASDAQ: CECE), a leading provider of air pollution control and industrial ventilation systems, supply FCC cyclones and air classifiers since 1942. For over 20 years, Buell air classifiers have been separating particles into coarse and fine fractions for the aggregate industry utilizing no moving parts. Major aggregate customers include: Aggregate Industries, Luck Stone, Hanson Building Materials, Oldcastle Materials and Tilcon Materials.
Buell systems provide a dry process using only ambient air to create the following products.
- Manufactured Sand for Asphalt
- Concrete Sand
- Mineral Filler
Buell systems are available in both Stationary and Mobile units.
