Mclanahan Corporation acquires universal engineering

McLanahan Corporation is proud to announce they have acquired Universal Engineering Corporation of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Universal Engineering Corp. is a well-known company that manufactures long lasting equipment for the aggregate and mining industries. They were founded in 1906 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

For over a century, McLanahan has been involved in crushing materials, with a focus on crushing soft minerals using Roll Crushers, Feeder Breakers and Rotary Breakers to process minerals such as coal, salt and trona. Now, the Universal acquisition brings hard rock crushing and apron, pan and wobbler feeders to the table. Universal products complement McLanahan’s existing lines and add a new dimension to the dynamics of the company.
