Lokotrack LT106 takes crushing to a new level

The original, proven Lokotrack range has now been complemented with a new, efficient jaw plant, the Lokotrack LT106. Thanks to its new jaw crusher, the LT106 takes primary crushing capacity to a new level.

The new Lokotrack LT106 mobile jaw plant is the successor to the world’s best-selling mobile crushing plant, the LT105, with about a thousand references worldwide.

The new LT106 is built around the completely new Nordberg C106 jaw crusher, blending proven solutions with the latest know-how. What’s more, the C106 provides up to 10 percent more crushing efficiency, thanks to the new cavity design, longer stroke and optimized rpm used.
The LT106 is the successor to the world’s best selling mobile jaw plant, the LT105. The original Lokotrack range now comprises more than 30 basic models, from compact contractor models to sturdy quarrying units.

New Crusher and Jaw Cavity Design
The C106 jaw crusher features a new frame and pitman structure, minimizing the stress levels within the machine and enabling maximum crushing forces. The crusher cavity profiles are of a new design, allowing the easy optimization of cavities for each application. Greater efficiency is also achieved with longer stroke and slower, optimized speed.
Bigger and heavier flywheels back up the increased performance by storing sufficient energy for each crushing cycle. Besides strength and performance, ease of use and serviceability have been prioritized during development. The crusher has a feed opening of 28- x 42-inches, providing a maximum feed size of 24-inches.

Environmentally Friendly Efficiency
The Lokotrack LT106 is powered by the efficient, 300 hp (224 kW) environmentally friendly CAT C9 diesel motor, which meets Tier 3 emission requirements. Moreover, the market leading, user friendly IC500 process automation system features complete automatic crushing process controls, single-button process start up and advanced fault diagnostics.
The LT106 can be fed by a conveyor, excavator or wheel loader, and according to the equipment used, a feed hopper size of 8- or 12-cubic yard can be selected. To ensure versatile operation, the LT106 can be equipped with a wide selection of optional equipment, including a longer, hydraulically folding discharge conveyor, radio remote controls, a magnetic separator and a high voltage generator.
The LT106 weighs 99,200 pounds, has a transport width is 9-feet 2-inches and height of 11-feet 1-inch.

With a Detachable Screen
The sister model, the Lokotrack LT106S, also features a single-deck, detachable screen module, allowing the production of two aggregate grades in a single-stage crushing and screening process.
The detachable, single deck screen module of the LT106S features a large screening area of 4.3 cubic yards. Screen mesh sizes from 3/4-inch to 3 inches can be used.
The rotation direction of the screen can be turned according to need, to improve screening capacity or efficiency. For easy servicing and screen mesh changes, the screen module can be opened hydraulically, increasing the operational uptime.
