The new "EVO" generation of mobile impact crushers from Kleemann provides a whole new level of technical innovation. Unlike much of the supposedly "new" machinery appearing on the market, Kleemann is setting the standard with its newly developed MR 110 and MR 130 plants as far as innovation and technology is concerned. "EVO" stands for a genuinely new development for the entire plant spectrum; it is a clear step forward with regard to performance, economic efficiency and wear behavior. Established knowledge in stationary plant manufacturing and decade-long experience in the construction of mobile plants have not only led to new developments for all individual components but to a new material flow concept. In order to cope with the greater overall performance, the surface of the screening unit has been significantly increased by over 44 % on the MR 110 |
No restriction in material flow Efficient material flow concept consistently ensures that there is no restriction to the flow of the material throughout the entire plant. The discharge chute under the crusher is 4 inches wider than the inner width of the crusher and the discharge belt which comes after this is a further 4 inches wider than the discharge chute. The material is thus transported quickly and carefully away from the critical area under the crusher. The flow rate increases and wear is reduced. Even before the crushing takes place, there is an improvement in the material flow thanks to the system widths of the feeder troughs and grizzly that facilitate the smooth flow of the material through the opening of the crusher. Active independent pre-screen for greater performance and reduced wear The independent and effective vibrating double-decker pre-screen, a 'specialty' of Kleemann's for some time now, contributes towards the impressive cost efficiency of the machine. In the EVO plants, the vibration behavior of the pre-screen and vibrating feeder below the crusher, for example, has been improved. Together with the newly designed crusher bypass which features changes to both form and geometry, the entire system has been relieved of load and a significant contribution has been made not only to increased performance but also the positive wear behavior of the crusher. New Impact ledges with optimized wear behavior
The advantages to EVO technology don't stop there, however. The new crusher is a good example here with highlights such as a new inlet geometry allowing for even better penetration of the material into the range of the rotor. Furthermore, the wear behavior of the new C-form Impact ledges has been improved to such an extent that the edges remain sharper for longer, leading to improved material shape. The rotor ledges are held securely by a new and extremely user-friendly clamping system. This means that they can be changed even quicker and thus contribute to the higher availability of the plant.

Direct drive: Versatile and economical Outstanding performance is made possible in part by the extremely efficient direct drive with which both machines are equipped. A latest-generation diesel engine transmits its power almost loss-free via a robust fluid coupling and the V-belts directly to the flywheel of the crusher. This drive concept also enables enormous versatility, as the rotor speed can be adjusted in four stages to suit different processing applications. Fully hydraulic gap setting with automatic zero-point calculation An even greater contribution made to the availability of the plant and the quality of the end product is the newly developed and fully hydraulic adjustment of the crushing gap. Here, not only can the crushing gap be completely adjusted via the electronic control unit but the calculation of the zero-point is possible while the rotor is running. The ability to accurately set the crushers aprons from the control panel saves time and improves the overall efficiency and handling of the crusher.
Further improvements include the new touch screen control unit with its significantly simplified operation which allows the operator to run the crusher and diagnose faults with a user friendly control screen. With its optional new and improved screening unit, not only simpler and faster to assemble and disassemble, this screening unit is now significantly bigger, by over 44% on the MR 110 EVO compared to its predecessor. This allows for considerably higher overall tonnages of approx.350 t/h or 450 t/h (MR 110 EVO / MR 130 EVO) with its significantly increased screening area.
