Grand Terrace, CA – August 4, 2009 — Wilden is excited to announce the availability of larger pump sizes (models), the addition of factory supplied drive options and improved availability for its King Cobra™ Peristaltic Hose Pumps in the Western Hemisphere.  |
All King Cobra™ pumps sold in the Western Hemisphere will now be manufactured and shipped from PSG’s Blackmer® facility in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA, and will be available in sizes from 0.63” barbed connection through 4” ANSI flange connection via the addition of three (3) new models. The new models extend the maximum available flow rate from 18.2 m3/hr (80.1 gpm) to 47.9 m3/hr (211.0 gpm). The King Cobra™ pumps can now also be ordered as bare shaft pumps or with a variety of drive options. Standard drive configurations include: 1) integral gear motor, 2) C-face gear reducer, or 3) C-face gear reducer with TEFC, explosion proof or single-phase motor.
In summary, King Cobra™ pumps sold in the Western Hemisphere will now: 1. Be ordered and ship from Blackmer® in Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA; 2. Be available in three larger pump models/sizes; and 3. Be available with multiple, factory supplied drive options. These include – a. Bare shaft pump (no drive) b. Standard drive configurations consisting of • Integral gear motor • C-face gear reducer • C-face gear reducer with NEMA TEFC, explosion proof or single phase motor
