Fairbanks scales acquires Automated Access Solutions

Kansas City, MO – July 9, 2009 - Fairbanks Scales, Inc. has announced the purchase of a majority of the assets of Automated Access Solutions from PDQ Manufacturing Inc., a subsidiary of Dover Corporation. AAS is engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing and marketing automated access systems used in vehicle weighing applications. Automated Access Solutions has become a leader in the implementation of unattended vehicle weighing applications.
 
This acquisition will support and strengthen Fairbanks’ heavy capacity business.
