Ellicott Dredges president Dredger of the Year

The Western Dredging Association (WEDA) and its more than 4,000 members named Ellicott Dredges President Peter Bowe as its 2009 “Dredger of the Year.” WEDA Executive Director Larry Patella and outgoing WEDA President Bill Hanson presented the award at WEDA’s annual meeting in Phoenix.

Among its specific citations, WEDA said, “Under Bowe’s exceptional leadership, Ellicott has not only become one of the best-known companies in the development of reliable portable dredges, he has enhanced the industry’s ability to improve the environment.”
